@ the Oklahoma City MemorialMe, standing in front of the 9:01 Gate at the Oklahoma City National Memorial. I worked just across the street for several years a few years ago. I enjoyed the opportunity to frequently stroll thru the grounds. Always a sobering place, offering time to reflect on one’s thoughts and feelings. I like the way it was designed. A whole block of 5th Street was flattened in the slope between Harvey and Robinson streets from the 9:01 Gate to the 9:03 Gate. It’s a sunken garden with a huge reflecting pool on a few millimeters deep made from black basalt.
